Question about 1999 Infiniti.5 QX4
You are low on transmission fluid. Or your filter is clogged. If that\'s not it, then your tourque converter is bad. You need to check the fluid with the engine running. You add fluid the same place the tranny dipstick goes. Be sure to use fluid type for your vehicle. Check the owners manual.

take it to the dealer the position rod is not aligined correctly and all the bolts that hold down the valve body are torqed to specific spec. trust me take to the dealer!!!!!!!

How is it you have the issues & the dealer never drives it,
to experience the same thing you are?
They are jerking you & don't care to resolve
Either leave it there,try a different dealer or have the
factory rep come & work on it
