No all you need is oxygen sensor socket it located on the actual exhaust pipes. Its just screw in exhaust system and has an electrical plug. Very simple Good luck and thanks for using FIX YA

Diagram oxygen sensor

With a single exhaust, one in each y-pipe leg, one for each bank. Sensor 1 bank 1, sensor 1 bank 2. Sensor 2 should be after the cat. Sorry, I don't have decent picture.

Lean codes bank 1&2 for chevy blazer

lean codes are generated by faulty heated oxygen sensors
(HO2S) that are in the exhaust manifolds before the cat converters
their purpose is to read the exhaust gasses and report the composition to the ECM so that the air/fuel mix can be adjusted to maintain correct settings

Sound like either the mechanic didn't plug the sensor in all the way or you got a bad sensor, bank 2 should be the passenger side, sensor 2 is the sensor after the catalytic converter.

Where is the o1 sensor on a chevy blazer

Did you mean O2 sensor - there may be two oxygen sensors on the exhaust - one is usually close to the engine on the exhaust manifold or just beyond and the other should be on the Catalytic converter - looks like a spark plug going into the exhaust and a wire attached. - although not all vehicles are equipped with two. Inspect wiring before replacing - GM is recommended to replace with GM only - aftermarket O2 sensors don't last long.
This is general info.
Good luck.
