Re: How do i change the pollen filter on 2006 chevy...
2 places it can be under the cowl vent panel and or under the passengere side of dash if its under the cowl remove wipers just a bolt take the bolt out and slowly pull the cowl vents off you should be able to see it from there and the in behind the glove box you can remove the glove box and remove the lower part of the dash to get it from there

The pollen filter for 2006 on s class w 221 is under the clove box passenger side , remove outer cover , this is the one with the light for footwell, 4 screws then the two filters are behind a cover with two slides , remove this and filters are in the housing, remember which way you take out filters as there is a back and front side / airflow direction. Move seat as far back as possible to give you room to work.
Removal: - Remove footwell trim -1- on front passenger side. - Remove partition -2- from heating unit. - Release cover -3- in direction of -arrow-. - Remove dust and pollen filter downward out of heating unit.
Yes they are on the same fuse. If changing the fuse doesn't fix the problem check the passenger footwell for dampness as water can get into the convenience control unit from a possible leaking pollen filter housing. If there is no dampness, the control unit could still cause this problem and it;s situated under the carpet in the passenger footwell.
Hello kino26763: You can locate the fuel filter at the rear of the car. You will need to raise the car so you can get under it. Be sure to use safety stands for your protection. The filter will be just in front of the rear axle. Passenger side at the gas tank. Should be a small round cylinder looking can. There should be three fuel lines coming off of the filter.

Its a pain but under your car are about 6 8mm bolts that you have to take off to get the filter out also you will have to take your driver front tire off to get the last few bolts to gain access to the air box there are 3 screws on the box that comes off and you can pull out the filter and put new one in and do the reverse.
