Remove the wiper arms and make sure your wiper motors are really working. If so the arm could be stripped out where the arm mounts to the motor.

The output shaft of the motor might be stripped or has loosened if an adjustable coupling. This may not be fun to access.
If you don't own one, I would recommend buying an aftermarket service manual from Haynes or Chilton.  These will often have step-by-step instructions for this kind of problem. They cost ~$20-$30 US and are available at auto parts stores.

At the base of the wiper arm there is a plastic cap,pop this off ,underneath there is a nut that holds the arm in place ,if it gets loose the post will turn inside the blade.Just turn the wipers off and tighten the nuts with the blade in the parked position.

My wipers just stop working and i got stuck in the pouring rain i hear the motor making noise but the blades are not moving what is why

There is a plastic 'thingie' that connects the motor to the arms that move the wiper blades. Your 'thingie' broke. Get a replacement at the Auto Parts store for about $6.00

2005 honda odyssey wiper blades stopped working all of a sudden. can hear the motor but the blades won't move. you can move the blades manually

1. Open Hood.
2. Remove wiper arms by removing cap nuts. they are a tight fit . there is a puller for this.
3 Remove cowel cover . once cover is off you will see the wiper motor and transmission assy. Possibly a snap joint wore out oa nut holding motor drive arm in place loosened up.
