SOURCE: how do you change a rear main oil seal in a 2000 toyota celica gt

First of all, be certain that the leak is in fact from that seal. many leaks travel to that area.

To change the seal is fairly involved, you need to pull the trans and flywheel. There are some specialzed tools involved. Do you have manual or automatic? Manual requires clutch plate alignment on re assembly, by the way , if manual, be sure to change the release bearing and pilot bearing at minimum. Commonly it would make sense to change the clutch during this're already all the way in there..

SOURCE: I have a 1990 Toyota celica gt. While running it

Check the idling if it is erratic. It may be a dirty fast idle control valve or leaking vacuum hoses.

Water leak at the rear of the motor

Sounds like a heater hose or maybe a welsch plug (freeze plug).

Fill it up with water and get someone to look where it is coming from.
Hopefully you can do an easy repair.

How to install engnie freeze plug 90 toyota celica st

Hi, are you talking about anti freeze, if so it goes in the engine coolant in the radiator, check the manufacturers specifications for the correct ratio of anti freeze to water for your climate, which I assume changes from season to season. In winter you may have to use 100% anti freeze for the coldest times of the year.

Replace fog light on a 1993 2.2L Celica GT

The bulb is removed from the back side & the lens is sealed to keep it waterproof and shouldn't be removed.

On most of these, you have to get access from behind, even if it means you have to remove the unit itself, or parts of the car, to gain access to the rear. Once you do, it's an easy replacement.
good luck.

1993 toyota v6 2wd wont hold water coming out of rear of engine?

If its the rear of the engine thats sounds like a freeze plug went rusty. Make sure its not something else like a heater hose or something leaking and running down the back of the engine. If it is a rear freeze plug the trans will need to be removed to replace it. Please, do your self a favor and use only brass freeze plugs they never rot.

1993 Toyota Celica Anti-freeze

A 50/50 mix will get you enough protection for all but probably the most extreme climates. You can go into just about any place that sells anti-freeze and get it already pre-mixed 50/50. Its actually better to do it that way because its precisely mixed and used pure water for the mix rather than tap water.

Replace a tail light bulb

If there is no "access panel" at the rear panel, look to see if there are any exterior screws around the lamp housing. If not, you have to remove the interior trim panel(s) from inside the car. Under there, you will find 3-4 8 or 10 millimeter nuts. Remove them, and pull the whole housing out.

Time to replace engine?

200k, congrats! I imagine you're asking this question because this freeze out plug is probably not easy to get at. I am guessing the truck has been well maintained to reached it's 200k milestone. I think I would replace the plug, as the engine seems to be humming along nicely. If you purchase a used engine, you may be inheriting a new set of problems. I'd go with replacing the freeze out plug, it's a heck of a lot cheaper than a motor swap. GOOD LUCK! countrycurt0
