SOURCE: where is the door lock relay located on a 1999

  • Aux Relay Box #4 is in the rear driver's side removable panel with the tire jack.
  • This Relay box holds the Door Lock / Unlock relays (ice cube type). It also holds the Driver Door Unlock Relay and the ACC Lights Relay (rectangular relays).

98 Chev Blazer. power lock problem. driver's door would not unlock doors, now it will not lock doors. passenger side works fine

you may just have a bad connection under the lock button under switch panel on your drivers door. check electrical plug in at door lock switch by removing that panel from driver may be that you have to replace that door lock switch .thers only one fuse for door locks and if pass side works, it's not blown.

1999 S10 Blazer electric door lock butons dont work. What should I check? The fuse in lefthand dash is ok.

First, replace the door pins and bushings to take the pressure off of the latch and lock actuator assembly. When the door sags and it gets slammed shut, it can break the plastic housing of the actuator and then it doesn't work any more. The latch and lock actuator are all in one assembly. It will need to be replaced after the pins are done.
And, don't use the door as a crutch when entering or leaving the truck.

    Reprogram keyless entry

It took me a few attempts to program a new keyless remote for my 2002 Chevy Blazer.
Insert key into ignition but don' turn it yet. While holding down the UNLOCK switch on the door, the trick is to cycle the ignition ON OFF ON OFF as quickly as possible then release the UNLOCK switch. If done correctly the door locks will cycle 1x to acknowledge. Then hold both the unlock and lock buttons down on the remote for about 15 seconds. The locks should cycle again to confirm...Hope this helps.
