SOURCE: depressurize fuel system

On the top of the intake manifold you will find the fuel rail. It receives fuel from pump and distributes it to the individual injectors. On the rail you will find a cap, resembling a tire valve cap. Remove the cap & depress the schaeder valve,( tire valve), to relieve the fuel pressure.

Starting problems with my ML320 Mercedes.

Replaced a crank sensor on a similar model. Easy to do.
See if tach moves when cranking.
If it is starting and not just cranking, then shutting off, sounds like it might be an ignition switch. On some models, the contacts for start are different than for run, Start ones are good and it starts, when key turns to run, it turns off. That would be my next move to test.

Where is the fuel filter on a 1999 Toyota Corolla?

Under hood, driver side, lower firewall, mounted below brake master cylinder You'll want to depressurize the fuel system before removing. Pull fuse for the fuel pump out, then crank/run car until it stalls. Even then, gas will spray some when removing filter.

Check the valve on the fuel rail. Looks like an over sized tire valve. Push the center of the valve, if there is still pressure it will spray fuel. If it is still pressurized then you probably pulled the wrong relay.
