1999 caravan would not start. Replaced computer now it stars but the electric fans don't work nor does any of the gauges.

Fan is probably good to check connect it directl to 12V at the battery, if it runs the problem is the relay or wiring connectors, etc.

it sounds like your speedometer head has a internal fault your probably gonna have to replace it,you may want to remove it and check that all of the plugins in the back of it are inserted fully

Speedometer not working on 2002 dodge ram 1500

Removed cluster from dashboard and unplugged & turned the whole cluster clockwise very slowly and needle started moving from 150 mph back down to 0 mph when rotation was completely done. Kept cluster upright while re-installing and plugged back in the plugs on back and everything was fine. Called local Dodge dealer and told me would take 30-45 minutes to reset and would cost approximately $70 to fix. Took about 8-10 minutes of my time and saved myself $70. This may not work for everyone but this was my amazing quick fix thanks to GOD for giving me this thought to try this.

Trucks shuts off while driving

I have a 2000 dodge ram. I had the same problem the truck would just stall no matter how fast or slow i was going. It ended up being the crankshaft position sensor. You need to check for codes to find the problem. p0385-p0389 is the crank shaft sensor. It takes about 5 min. to change if thats the problem. On that year you might be able to turn the key to the on position but not starting then off, then on, then off, then on (three times) on the third time leave on and watch the odometer it will flash codes then will say p-done.

Coolant temperature sensor location for 1999 Dodge Durango

The sensor is right next to the heater hose outlet on the front passenger side of intake manifold. It is very small with an oval shaped connector going to it. I have the same engine.
