SOURCE: Mazda miata radiator replacement
For myself, if I were to replace something like that, I would (as I did in my 87 RX7 TII) a performance radiator. Koyo the trusted brand is my suggestion though probably more expensive.
Just be sure to take measurements where needed. Other than that, most radiator swaps can be a DIY project if you have a few hours and are handy with a socket wrench, screwdriver and pliers.

SOURCE: Mazda Miata 2001 car problem
Batteries can have a dead cell in them, meaning there is sufficient charge to run accessories and the "check glass" may look fine (dark green in color on maintenance free batteries), but one dead cell in the battery indicates replacement time.

That is not a lot to go by unfortunately. Your our eyes and ears, what else can you tell me. How many miles on it? Were there any recent repairs? when was the last COMPLETE tune-up? Does this happen all the time, or sometimes but got worse? Is the engine light on or any stored engine codes? What have you done so far as far as diagnostics? This could be caused by being out of gas, bad fuel-pump, faulty ignition key, bad alternator, a vacuum leak, water in the fuel. Well let me know, thanks.

The fuel pump is in the fuel tank. You may be able to access the fuel tank by removing your bottom rear seat cushion. If no access there you must remove the fuel tank. If you have to remove the tank and it is mostly full you should siphon out as much fuel as you can into appropriate containers.
