Question about 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan
When it rains hard my van won't crank. Once it dries out it starts skipping and I have to replace spark plugs. What is causing this
Well when it rains really bad and water gets under your hood either it goes in your oil and you have to replace it or it gets in your air filter and in your engine to get the water out pull all the spark plugs and crank it untill there is no more water coming out then put the plugs back and dont forgot to change your air filter

The serpentine belt tensioner is a spring loaded device that pulls the right amount of pressure to keep the belt for falling off, as well slipping.
This unit has a short life span, that of the belt, and in most cases it is recommended that it should be replaced at the same time as the belt.
I am 90% sure this is the issue.
I hope this helps
