Question about 1995 Lincoln Mark VIII
My 95 Mark VIII won't shut off when I turn the key to the off position, have to pull the fuse to get it to stop running. It will start using the key once the fuse is reinstalled.
OK CAR WILL NOT SHUT OFF VERY RARE IT WILL BE THE IGNITION CAUSE IT WOULD AFFECT OTHER PARTS OF THE CAR NOW IF YOU CHECK THE FUSE BOX AND WITH THE HANDLE OF A SCREW DRIVER LIGHT TAP ON THE RELAYS WITH KEY OFF . IF IT SHUT DOWN REPLACED THE SUSPECTED RELAY. CAN SWAP THE RELAY. FOR TESTING. KEEP THE IN ORDER. GOOD LUCK I THINK IS A RELAY REPLACED WITH A NEW ONE

Check the ignition switch and if this be the case it is cheaper to find a salvage yard and have the column same as yours and change the whole thing just take the steering column to a lock smith along with the key and they will rekey it to the new column
