Step 1:

check your owners manuel for the fuse box

Step 2:

Then look for the fuse and the color of it and the number on it for the right size and amp for that part of he car.

Step 3:

Than take a plasit puller to remove the fuse once you pull it look for and damage fuse for and break in the wirering. if you do see this than this is what you need so purchase that same part for a part store and ask them to install it for you and see if this solve your problem...that ask for their advise its free and alot of time they done mine........Talk to you La Da!

SOURCE: heater and ac blower

I have an '04 with approx. 79000 miles; the blower is going out on mine too. The motor is probably burned out and you will need to replace it. It's about $90 for the part. Kind of a pain to change; I changed the blower motor on my 97 'prix and I had to lay upside down on the passenger seat and work on it upside down. Other than a little physically uncomforable, not too hard to do.

SOURCE: How do you relace a heater coil in 2006 pontiac grand prix?

I don't want to over step my knowledge but you car is only 3 or 4 years old. I don't think your heater core is bad, unless it is leaking, Sounds like you have a blend door problem in the HVAC system. This door is actuated by a servo motor switching from hot side to cold side. This little servo can go bad and need replacing. Just make sure you don't have any bubbles in the coolant system first as long as you havent done any thing with the coolant system you souldn't have any air in the system Hope this helps you. Please rate my solution for you thank you

SOURCE: Heater blower motor only works on high on 2002

for the fan blower motor it could be the resistor or the fan control speed control switch is bad.for no lights replace the DRL RELAY for the lights. for the heated seats check the fuses.

SOURCE: 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix SE 6 Cyl - Cooling Fan Not Operating

the fan motor could just be bad, you can test this by removing the fan and connecting a wire to each terminal and to a battery. the wires hooked up one way will spin the fan and the other way will spin the fan backwards so you cant hook it up wrong. I hope that helps you out!

I have a 2000 pontiac grand prix with a digital climate control system. The heat quit working, it doesn't blow out any heat. Now that it is warm outside the air stopped blowing out any air. The digital temperature on the climate control is not correct. When it states that it is below 30 degrees on the ext and it is warm outside the air wont be cold. Once it starts going above 30 degrees the air gets colder. Today the blower stop working all together. Was told it maybe the climate control unit was bad. You can hear the door opening/shutting when you switch the temp from cold to hot. But there was no heat blowing out whatsoever in the winter time. Could you please give me your opinion on whether or not it is the climate control unit or something else?

The air coming from my heater in my 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix isn't very warm. What could be the problem?

Could be the thermostat in the engine is stuck open , but your engine temp guage would show that the engine is running cooler than usual. Could be a partially blocked heater core , low flow of hot coolant makes for cool air.

Im not getting any heat to come out my vents, going to be in 20's....cold ride! Should be a recall on this 2004 pontiac grande prix. What can I do?

If engine temp is warm, then either your heater core is clogged and needs flushed or your warm /cold door motor is not working properly(located under the dash). if you engine si not getting warm you have a bad thermostat.

Please take a moment and rate my answer..........Thanks

2002 grand prix, will not blow hot air, engine heats up fine and cooling system checks ok.

With the engine warmed up feel the heater lines going into the firewall. You will probably find that one is very hot and the other only look warm or even cold. If this is the case the heater core needs to be flushed. With the engine cold remove the hoses at a convenient location and back flush the heater core. Reconnect the lines and warm the engine back up with the heat on.

2000 grand prix fan speed

i have been having that same exact problem with my 2002 grand prix for over a year now, and when my ac is on the lower setting the it doesnt work plus the headlights and lights on my dash go out. On Max everything works. i changed the blower resistor(about $35), still doesnt work. i changed all relays and fuses related to the ac, still doesnt work. i changed out the actual ac control switch in the dash, still doesnt work. i have changed everything but the blower motor and have asked every mechanic and auto parts retailer i come across and no one knows the answer. The best answer i got is that it is probably a wiring problem like a short somewhere.
