Question about 2002 Isuzu Axiom
I have an isuzu axiom 2002 and overheat it when i start to drive when is in parking no overheat. i replaced the fan clutch, water pump, thermostat, clean the radiator, replace the radiator cap, no leaks anywhere. What do you recommend for fix?
I really wish I could help you, but......
Here is one thing you might check.
Years ago, many cars that were 10 years old and older had overheat problems undiagnosed.
I found the bottom radiator hose collapsing while driving.
The water pump sucks coolant from the bottom of the radiator, and the hoses would get old and soft and suck together.
Auto makers put coil springs inside them to stop the problem, but sometimes the coil springs were either too short, or would move inside the hose leaving an area where the hose would suck together.
First, feel the hose when the engine and hose are hot, but not with the engine running, and with the raduiator cap removed to de-pressurize your system.
Then, try to squeeze the bottom hose from the radiator to the engine block and feel for soft spots that can be squeezed.
If you find any, you will need to replace that hose.

I just had a garage replace my thermostat on my 2002 Isuzu Axiom. The book calls for 2 hrs labor, no way. iI took the garage more like 5 hrs plus, they ate the additional 3 hrs of labor. Note, the intake manifold must be removed and even then special tools are needed because it is still buried deep down. The garage took pictures ot this one because of how ridiculours Isuzu designed the location.
