SOURCE: Adjust rear brakes 1995 Nissan Pathfinder 4WD

if they are disk brakes, they are not adjustable. if they are drums they should auto adjust. if they are not, then there is a problem that you have to pull the tire, then the drum, to diagnose it. you may have to disassemble the brake shoes and springs, and clean and lube the self adjusters

SOURCE: 1993 Nissan Pathfinder has a leak on interior passenger side.

You should be able to find the end of the drain on the fire wall at the passengers feet area. Compressed air is the method used by garages but you may be able to fish a wire up the drain and unclog it. You will know it when a lot of water comes out.

Nissan Pathfinder has himming/hissing sound

Check for an exhaust leak if it is more hissing than humming. If humming, I would suspect the u-joint. Since it is rear wheel drive, we have drive shafts and the one that goes from the tranny to the front differential may just be your problem, especially if it were sitting for a LONG time and possibly corrosion or rust is a factor. More than likely, if the u-joint is making noise, it is degraded rollers in the bearing of the u-joint and will need to be replaced before either siezing or breaking.
