Question about 1984 Ford Ranger
I have replaced battery and cables and the altanator is fine
If you put power to the small terminal and the solenoid still is not working chances are that it is bad, if it clicks it is likely good and the problem is with the neutral safety switchwith the small wire un hooked from the solenoid place a test light probe into the small wire and ground the other end of the test light to the battery if the test light lights the neutral switch is working
