SOURCE: Missing, stalling Pontiac Sunfire

The OBD II code for P0400 is Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Malfunction.
I'm sure the only thing you have left is you may have to replace the EGR valve or check for any leak from the vaccum lines going to to EGR valve.

SOURCE: how to replace throttle position sensor on a 1995

Remove all parts to access the throttle-body, typically the sensor is on the side with 2 screws.  Remove the wired plug and then the two screws.  Assembly is the reverse being careful to fit the flat piece of the throttle-body into the groove of the sensor. Do not overtighten.
Replace connector and other parts.
Typically the sensor is on the drivers side of the throttle body. May be a torx screw, or phillips (star).
Good luck.
Canada Rocks!

Can i change just the censor in the throttle body on my 2005 pontiac g6

On your car and many newer model cars the throttle body is one piece, with a built in tps/throttle position sensor. On older models they were serviceable. You could try cleaning the mechanical part of the throttle body, and see if that helps.

My traction control disabled light is going on and off and the engine power is reduced

you may have a bad mass air flow sensor. engine goes into protection mode when this happens so it doesnt damage the engine. or your throttle position sensor is failing as well. best thing to do is check and seeif you have a check engine light on and have the code read.
