Anti pollution system fault light is on.
If the Anti pollution warning light is coming on the possible causes are endless. If the car is driving ok then that is a good sign, but please remember that modern management systems can mask problems quite well. The safest advice is to get it looked at and see what fault codes are appearing and then a diagnosis can begin, as leaving it is not going to be a good thing, it can go from a minor problem to more serious issues. At least the light is not flashing, which usually means an emission compliance problem and even more serious, but even so I would advise protecting your vehicle by getting it checked out as soon as possible to avoid potential damage.
A fault in the ignition can cause an engine misfire and unburnt fuel gets into the exhaust causing the anti-pollution light to be triggered.
Check the ignition system for signs of damp or loose connections.-------
I suggest get the car scanned at autozone service center. Its absolutely free to get car scanned. This will show the problem if you receive the error code.--------
