SOURCE: 94 dodge intrepid won't start.

Sounds like trans range switch. It is stuck in 2nd because it has a trans code in the tcm. Chrysler calls this (limp-in mode). You need to scan the tcm for codes, It likely has a code for the range switch. Hope this helps. By the way the range switch is also the neutral safety switch for the starter.

How can i start a toyota land cruiser- Lost original key - Got another key from some garage which ONLY turns dash board lights ON and one of the symbols shown is a car with a key in the middle.

Security system needs to identify proper key for operation. Original key most likely had a chip in it for security identification. Aftermarket cut key will not be recognized by security module. You can usually get a proper key from the dealership by giving the VIN# and they can cut the proper key linked to the vehicle

2001 jimmy loaded xrt egnition some times wont start lights go out on dash but nothing later 10min or so it starts

It sounds like the immobilizer is being set off. The factory reset time when it gets set off is 10 min. There is a wire that connects to the sides of the key where the "chip" is. Those wires eventually break or get loose just from time so its not uncommon. To fix it you'll need either a new ignition cylinder and key set that needs programed at the dealer or a non security key cylinder and key set and install a security bypass module that they have to use when you install an aftermarket stereo.

Security system wwill not let tahoe start

I don't think there s just 1 fix for this as it could be so many different issues causing your problem.
Is your alarm system an aftermarket system you recently installed?
Do you have a bad Starter solenoid?
Is your key you are using a chipped key?
ignition Switch?
I recommend to have a skilled technitian look at your problem and find a solution, An ASE tech certified in engine performance should be able to find and fix your problem.

I have a 2000 Yukon Denali and the alarm system will not alow it to start at times.....What should i do whwn this happens or how can i prevent this from happening

According to my lists, 2000 Yukon has a Passlock 2 anti theft security system. This means that the key literally has a transponder in it that sends a radio signal to the ignition. The ignition/lock cylinder then sends a signal to the TDM (theft deterrent module) which then reads the signal and allows your truck to start. If there are any communication breaks, the truck thinks its being stolen and goes into anti theft.... Read up on this link. There might be an option for you.

Turn off security light on my 1992 cadillac deville

I had that same problem and it took me forever to figure out what was wrong. You are probably using an aftermarket key as was I. The stupid little plastic/metal chip in the shaft of the key is for the security system. Sometimes if you insert the key and turn too fast it sets off the security system. To solve the problem go get another key made from a different key maker, they cost around $15-20. Or, insert the key slowly and turn the ignition slowly. Or go get a good key from the dealer, I've heard it may be ~$50 for this key but it should work the best. FYI I still just use my aftermarket key and just deal with the occasional no start wait 3 min ordeal. Good luck.
