Go to end of wiring where chip harness ends, you will see where tap was made. reconnect oem wiring back in to place,you should be okay..

SOURCE: 94 dodge intrepid won't start.
Sounds like trans range switch. It is stuck in 2nd because it has a trans code in the tcm. Chrysler calls this (limp-in mode). You need to scan the tcm for codes, It likely has a code for the range switch. Hope this helps. By the way the range switch is also the neutral safety switch for the starter.

Why this isn't a total solution, one resource I've used many times when it comes to electrical diagrams is http://www.the12volt.com/. They have all the diagrams and "audio experts" there that might be able to tell you specifically the color.

there should be 3 wires. The all black one is the ground, the black wire with the colored line is the positive, and the other is the negative
