2004 Ford Crown Victoria, how many labor hours for?

Hi,

2004 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. It has the 4.6L engine, correct? How many hours does it take to replace the heads?

Thanks so much.

I was actually going to try to get the heads from the junkyard and throw it my CVPI. I know it's not recommended but it could be better than what is on there now, no?

Depends on whether or not you are going with Brand new or are Going to Machine the Old ones. Which way you goin????

Could be But, If you get them Machined you can avoid a LOT of Problems that could occur by not having them Done. Ones from the Salvage could be Warped and you would never See it until after you had them Installed. Anyway, You are looking at about 5 to 7 Hours for the Complete Job.
