Question about 1998 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup
For it to start you have to pump the gas then it will flood
You may have a bad connection or bad coolant temperature sensor. If so it will pour fuel to it. It is located on the coolant pipe on the front of the engine right on top. Hope this helps.

When you replaced the pressure regulator under the upper plenum did you notice any fuel puddling in the lower intake? I have had numerous occasions when the plastic fuel lines inside the plenum that attach to the spider were cracked. You can pressureize the fuel system with the upper plenum off and look for leaks also lift all the nozzles out of the holes and watch to see if they are dripping this a very common problem.
