Question about 2008 Chevrolet Express Passenger
I would look at the wiring at the trans range switch and follow the harness back and look for any place it could be chaffing/rubbing the body or grounding out, also does it have a trailer hitch, if so look at the connector for signs of water intrusion or corrosion, if it is all scotch locked together replace those with heat shrink butt connectors

check the wiring. could have broken. my problem turned out to be the ground wire on the left light that was not a part of the harness.

I have this exact same issue with my 05 Colorado and its so annyoying (not to mention unsafe)... I thought it was just the blub- becuase in my case my signal is no loger blinking. My break light still works, as does my parking light...
Any thoughts as to why this is happening?
