Question about 2001 GMC Denali

2001 Denali engine noise at highway speed

While driving into work this morning while at highway speeds, The engine on My 2001 Denali became loud all of the sudden. The gas pedal felt like it had more pressure(pushback) than usual and the truck began to vibrate noticably. It almost sounded like there was a hole in my exhaust but the engine was much louder than normal (I have an aftermarket flowmaster muffler). I also noticed a bit of power loss and lack of repsonsiveness. Im clueless as to what this can be. Please help!

I have a rumbling noise in the front end of a 2006 Yukon Denali. it only does it when accelerating. what is the fix?

Can be many things. Check the cv joints first- will make sharp clicking noise especially when turning. Wheel bearing but it will be all the time and noise will increase with speed. Control arm bushes - shudder and noise when accelerating or when driving on road with an slight incline (up hill). If nothing obvious found take the car to an suspension specialist for evaluation and quote.

Sounds like possibly a faulty ignition switch, They will cause symptoms very similar to that. Another thing 2001-2003s were known for are bad instrument panel clusters (dash assembly) usually the speedo gets pegged at a certain speed and stays there.

"Humming" or "bearing" type noise in left front at highway speeds

That's a hub bearing. Replace the one that's doing it. I'm assuming this 'roar' is coming from the front, NOT the rear.

Keep an eye on your temperature gauge until we figure this out, just in case & see if it climbs much/any at highway speeds.
