SOURCE: 2004 toyota celica will not blow hot air for twenty minutes

If the engine temprature does not reach the normal level as it used to, it may be the coolant thermostat.

Iif it does, it could be air diverter gates not working properly, cold air blowing at a a light could point to that. The diverter gates are located under the dash.

It also coul be the valuve that controls the water to the heater core, but unlikely cause of the cold air at a light.

Toyota Hilux 2008, 2KD engine. cleaned injector nozzle. Now the car has a black smoke, lower engine power & engine vibration for z first 45 minutes of morning warm up. any idea folks? Frezer

if you dismantled the injector to clean it then you need to take it to a specialist diesel shop to have it recalibrated
It is not a matter of pull it apart , clean and reassemble and it will be ok .
With high pressure injectors ( 20.000 psi +) that is not how it works and will be the root cause of your current problems.

run the fault codes to find which sensor is not working correctly. It may be a faulty cam/crank position sensor, fuel pressure sensor or air flow sensor.

if engine is revving and it "hesitates" the takes off- check your transmission fluid level. if enigne does not rev correctly, but then takes off like you said and trans is ok- have you checked your air filter?

I have a 1992 2.8 hilux 4runner diesel. The speedo has stopped working. Is it run electrically or by cable?

We don't have Hilux Diesels in the USA. I show a speed sensor in the transmission for a gas engine model. You should be able to see a cable coming out of the trans if it has one.

Hi there. i have a 1986 toyota hilux 3.0l turbo(knocking)

I have a Toyota Hilux 3.0 KZ-TE fitted with a intercooler and on Saterday on a 4x4 outing the engine light on the dashboard came on and the motor started spluttering and excessive white smoke came out of the exhaust. The problem persisted for several minutes and then went away. The verdict from other 4x4 owners was that the turbo needs an overall, I cannot understand this as it is fine again with no mechanical interferance.

Sounds like you have a bad connection on the remote start. Check all connections for it. Remote starts are helpful, but also harmful. More times then none, they will tear up your starter.

It's a 1990 Toyota HiluX surf. Can't start it, yet the day before running fine.

a glo plug is basically a heating element that heats up the cylinders to allow for easy starting of a diesel engine. there should be one per cylinder. if it is a diesel, you could have an air bubble in the fuel system, which will cause it not to start. You would need to take it to a shop to bleed the fuel system.
