if its appearing on the lhs off the dash its just when your tyres are losing grip whith the road surface.

I had this same car, that light comes on when the park brake is on, also comes on when a door is ajar.

Do you have a button there for putting the car in winter drive? all wheel drive? something to do with the rear end? The squiggly lines means traction, or lack of, and the wrench means fix it. And the triangle means it is on. So there must be a switch someplace next to the shifter that turns something on, having to do with the rear end. Check it out.
