Need the method to replace the belt . does the motor mount need to be removed
Yes, I have a 97 buick and the motor mount does have to be removed. See information below that I retireved from Autozone.com:

The serpentine belt is held tight by a tensioner. When you buy the new belt, have the parts house show you how to loosen and then tighten it again.

You actally have to take the Motor Mount off. The way I did it was to remove the Front Right Wheel and the Plastic Guard. There you will see the Motor Mount and the Bolt that needs to be removed. Once removed, the melt piece betwee the bracket and engine pops out. Then you can replace the belt and put everything back together.
