started out it would severly cut out as soon as it fully warmed up,now it does it cold or hot, replaced alot of parts but no luck, one day I messed with relay box just to look at it,replaced battery cable terminals and put alternator back on (after having it tested, tested good) and it ran alot better but still had a miss, took it for a drive just long enough to get half way warmed up and it died (just as if you turned off the ignition) went to restart it and battery was pretty much dead! any suggestions?

I have a 1996 Jeep Grand cherokee with the 5.2l v-8 engine. Last week I started it, and it ran for about 1 minute before shutting off. The engine cranks, but no ignition. I replaced the Crankshaft position...

Time to meter voltage. Start with the 12V circuit. Are you getting voltage at the coil. Does the voltage fluctuate when the engine cranks? If yes to both check the high voltage circuit. Start with the coil then the distributor then each plug. You should be able to find where the spark is failing.

My 93 jeep grand cherokee turns over but has no spark. it has fuel pressure and gas. what is wrong with my car?

First test the coil, Make sure you have power to it? If you do? Inspect the cap and rotor button for damage. If that all checks out? replace crank sensor
