Cannot find the resorvoir for the power steering fluid

I know I need to fill my power steering fluid resorvoir. But I looked under the hood and I cannot find the resorvior for it. I can find the one for Dot3, and the radiator resorvior, and the one for window washer fluid. I have a 2003 Saturn Ion. Can you help me?

I checked the owners manual and it said to fill up the power steering fluid resorvoir. I am not sure if I have electric power steering or if I have power steering fluid at all. It is a 2003 Saturn Ion, that is all I know.

They don't often use both in the same model year... they do however use a generic user manual... be that as it may i'll have a look at the service manual when i have a chance

Many of these have a Electronic Power Steering Assembly. No fluid is required. If you are having a problem with it you have to take it in to your service center, there is nothing you can service at home.

Sound when turning the steering wheel

Your power steering fluid is low... Do not drive the car untill you fill this up... Have a look under the hood and you will see a small bottle saying power steering fluid only... Fill this up to the mark and it should back to normal... Check for leaks tho as its not normal for power steering to get that low unless the car has a poor service history or a leak. You may need to top it up again after filling it for the first time.

Can you assist with where the power steering resorvoir is, need to add fluid to a 2005 clk 320

On the drivers side of the engine you will see the oil filter housing and an air tube. The power steering reservoir is under the air tube.

to bleed the power steering all you have to do is fill the resorvoir and start the motor and turn the steering from stop to stop until there is no air in the system and recheck the level and there is no air in the fluid.

Where is the power steering fill place

When the hood is popped, look for a cap that says ATF Fluid only. That is actually the power steering reservoir and not the transmission fluid fill location. I would recommend Dextron III or Dextron VI fluid for the power steering. Don't use your average power steering fluid, it says to only use ATF for a reason.

Can't find where to fill power steering fluid?

Look under your hood at the fill caps there should be a cap that says power steering fluid on the top if it, unscrew the cap and add the recommended and the proper amount of fluid until its on the full line on the small dipstick.....

When I turn right or left, a moaning sound emanates from under the hood of my 1989 Mercury Marquis. Is my power steering pump failing? Where do I check the power steering fluid level?

The sound should indicate low fluid. Your power steering fluid should be red...may look black depending on how old. Your manual will tell you where to fill.

Power Steering Fluid Leaking!

should only be 2 hoses coming from and to your PS unit 1 is high pressure and the other is a return line. the Fluid all over the engine compartment is from the fan blowing the fluid,

my suggestion clean the area fill the PS unit up and have someone start the vehicle and watch where the fluid is coming from.

Where is the power steering fluid reservoir?

if it's the 3.8, it's between the alternator and the firewall, right behind the alternator, its sort of tucked in there, so (flashlight might be handy) you should be able to just barely see the cap, and definintly need a long funnel, or some hose to fill it up.
