Sideview mirrors dont move certain ways.

My sideview mirrors always worked until the other day. My left mirror does not move up or to the inside while my right mirror does not move up or to the inside as well. They both move down and to the outside. Anyone know the problem?
Also when i reverse my mirror does not readjust downward to see the curb.

Same problem (sideview mirrors only move in 2 directions (outside & down)), also the seat position memory stopped working and the washer fluid no longer squirts. I found a post that says they are all related to a single 7.5 amp fuse being blown (due to trying to pump washer fluid when it is frozen) but all of the fuses in the box look OK. Trying to find out which fuse to replace anyways.

The solution is simple. There is a 7.5 fuse that is under the dash that controls the washer motor, seat memory, rear view dimming and those two directions of the side view mirrors.
It is #20 (IG WASHER)... Problem solved

I researched the maintenance manual. The fuse you need to replace is fuse 20 in the under dash fuse box. It controls side windows, washer motor, rear view dim function, and possible seat memory. There are a couple that link to the mirrors, but this is the one for this problem.

The sideview mirror lights and windows have

I am pretty sure it is the body control module. My 02 sable is currently having a similar issue. On a random day my girlfriend took the car to the store, the car started honking when she went to re-enter the vehicle. never done that before. Later that night the left front turn signal will not shut off. the turn signal light on the dash stays on solid, this morning the bright light indicator was on solid and the turn signals worked perfectly fine until the blinker light eventually went back to on all the time. I disconnect the battery at night or if I am not going to drive it for a few hours. But I am 99% certain it is the BCM causing this.

How do i change my sideview mirror on my 01 neon?

Easy! Basically you pop off the plastic cover on the inside of the door that leads to the sideview mirror. Remove the two or three nuts and pull the mirror out from the exterior of the door....installation is in reverse....that simple.

Replacement sideview mirror casing

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door
