SOURCE: what size spark plug spanner do i need for a toyota starlet

It is a problem as to why the plug came out.Did
you not notice the car running rough. Google the size you need
you will never measure it.Or ebay it,somebody will have one.
Then find out from a garage how it came out.My theory is that it
was not done up properly first time.It therefore worked loose.

Does anyone know what size bolt holds the high pressure hoses on under the ps pump on a 03 chevy trailblazer? Have tried every known tool I have. Invert torx, stand, metric. Thank you

You remove the high pressure line using a standard imperial open ended spanner on the fitting where the steel HP line attaches to the PS pump unit.. It will most likely be around 5/8". But, if not that size, if you have a decent range of imperial size open ended spanners you should have no problem finding one that fits perfectly. If you don't in your spanner set then slide an adjustable spanner over the fitting, adjust it up to the bolt on the HP line and then remove and measure the size. Buy a spanner that size (the longer the better) and you should have no issue removing the line as long as the bolt head has not been rounded off.

How do you remove the front two bolts on a Ford 4000 tractor oil pan?

sometimes when I am faced with such a situation where I can see the bolts but cannot get a spanner to them I take an old spanner of the right size and use an oxy tourch to bend it to a special shape to do the job.. Even if I have to weld spanners to long rods . It is either that or remove the obstruction to get to the bolts.

What tools do i need to change a inline fuel filter

If it is a plastic type, with rubber hose connections, then just a pair of pliers to remove the squeeze clips.

Nowadays most EFI cars have a metal body fuel filter with a "banjo" connection at one end. For this you need a socket wrench or ring spanner the right size.

At the other end is probably a metal fuel line with a compression fitting nut on it, which may be very tight. Here you need a flare nut wrench, which is a ring spanner with a slot to allow it go around the fuel line. Using an open end spanner or adjustable spanner may round off the nut if it is tight.

Can,t remove nuts for trailing arm rear end.

Use a de-greasing spray like WD40 , apply for some time and then use a good set of BOX spanners or ring spanners with the correct size to wrench free the nuts. If jammed use a double end spanner with a hammer but with caution , not to damage the nut or allow it to be rounded off.

I am in the process of changinging a thermostat and need to know how to remove the fan. I removed the 4 screws to the pulley but the fan would not come off. please help

what year is it?
if it's an E36 it should have a viscous coupling.
you need a very large spanner or large cresent, [cant remember size] put the pulley & belt back on & tighten. the put the spanner or cresent on the large nut behind the viscous coupling & with a hammer give the spanner a quick hard wack clockwise to loosen. usually one or two decent hits free it enough to undo by hand. then put back together opposite directions. hope this helps.
