SOURCE: 2005 ford ranger fuel pump relay gets hot and engine dies

Like Laurie Mack said. It is the inertia switch below the glove box. Here is some funny information. DON'T change the fuel pump first. Interesting fact: I bought the new inertia switch from Ford and the install instructions that came with it said to install the switch in the protected area to the right where the fuses are. It is like Ford knows it was a dumb place to put the inertia switch, but they won't let you know until after you buy a new one. I have read at least 20 other people on here that had the same problem I just had.

2002 vue v6...starts and runs well however when I stop , shut off the engine, then try to start after half hour , it wont start

Lookfor a light on the dash that says SECURITY or ANTITHEFT. If you see this light, that is a sign of a failed or failing antitheft system, which will disable your vehicle. This link explains

Stalling while at full stop then hitting the gas I foolishly forgot to put the oil cap back on my engine when I got home the engine was a mess, I waited over two weeks for the weather to warm up before...

I would check for water in the spark plug tubes and for water under the distributor cap. It will only take a couple of minutes to dry either one out.

Problem with my Vs commodore

panhard rod. go to the wreckers and get one from another vs. shouldnt cost u more than $20. as for the wishbone a wheel alignment will give you an indication if this is bent. if it is a minor one a realinment may fixit otherwise once again visit the wreckers and get one. dont forget to take some coil spring compressors ( you can hire them if you dont own or want to buy any). shouldnt take you more than a half a day.

you say wishbone, which is in the front, so if it is just a trailing arm, dont need the compressors just take a few spanners n sockets out, get the right sizes and hed to the wreckers. You should get them parts for under $50. half a day and half a slab of beer with a mate and you should be on your way again, after sobering up of course :)

Car stalls when driving and doesn't restart right away

Fuel filter changed recently? If it just started this & you filled up somewhere you don't normally fill up, then I'd try some "heet" additive or similar to remove moisture from gas tank, just in case that's the problem.$5.00 test.
