Blower motor works only on hight speed

Most heater fans have a resister built into the wiring and connection block on the actual casing. High fan speed=full voltage, Mid speed=small resister, Slow fan speed=large resister. Change the resister block. Pete

Fiat Bravo 2008 access blower fan resister

this is caused by a faulty resistor block. inside the resistor block you can see coils that are soldered to a terminal.

check if there are coils that are broken or not soldered in the terminal

resistor blocks are located below your evaporator (you need to remove your car compartment to access the resistor block)

My heater blowers dnt work and i need to knw where i can locate the resister blocks for my heater blowers so i can ghange them

Its located under dash,or near glove box.

The dash panel lower side has to be out.

HEATER BLOWER MOTOR

Its faulty blower motor resistor. The low and medium speed on blower motor is controlled by resistor and its actual speed is high. So because resistor is not working, blower motors actual speed which is high is working.

It can be faulty blower motor or faulty blower motor resistor. Get the blower motor inspected. If it's faulty it has to be replaced.

01- Dodge Caravan AC Heater Control it only works on high none of the speeds work when I rotate the switch from low to high. Is this a swith problem or a motor problem?

Most likely neither. The most common cause is that an electrical device called the blower motor resister block, has failed. This device provides all the slower speeds. It is generally mounted in the HVAC [Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning] box, very close to the blower motor. FYI, we mechanics call the fan motor inside the cabin the blower motor. The electric fan motor behind the radiator is called the cooling fan motor.
If the resistor block is OK, then you have either a bad fan speed switch or a melted electrical connector at that switch. 95% of the time, the resister block is the problem.

Fan switch for front and rear air only works on high?

The fan speed is controlled by a resistor block, usually located near the fan in the fan housing. Sounds like the resistor block has burned in the lower speeds and needs to be replaced. Hope this helps and good luck :O)

2005 Jeep Liberty Heater fan motor speed control , no low speed only med & high speeds..is there a fuse for low speed?

Sounds like low speed coil in the Blower Fan resistor block has failed. The Blower Fan Resistor Block is usually located in the air ducting adjacent to the Blower Fan. The Resistor Block consists of 3 or 4 coils of special resistance wire attached to terminals which connect to the wiring that comes from the fan switch and then to the Blower Fan. The block is on the output side of the fan unit so that the airflow from the fan past the coils inside the duct assists in preventing them from overheating and burning out.
Access to the Resistor Block is from under the dash. To replace, remove the multi-pin connector and then undo the screws holding in the block. Check air duct for leaves and dirt which may have caused the coils to fail. .Replacement is the reverse procedure

you need to replace the resister block for the fan speeds... it is located in/on the duct work near the fan. you will see a connector and two or three screws holding it in.

Heater worked on high only now not at all

the resister block for the fan went. look under the dash on the duct work near the fan for an electrical fitting that goes into the duct work... should be two or three screws holding it in... remove the part and replace it...... perhaps unhook the battery first.

Heater Control Switch Only Works on High

Your problem is probably a part called the heater resistor block or board. When this part burns out you will only have high speed on the fan. On my 1999 voyager it is located on the firewall and it snaps in a hole in the firewall. This is under the hood behind the alternator.
Mine had a multi pin black plug plugged into it. Unplug the plug and
you should be able to pull the block out insert new block and plug plug back in and it should come to life.
