SOURCE: dimmer switch replacement

Air bags have to be removed, but the steering column could be left in vechile. Although, it is easier to work with when it's out of vechile. And I'ld go someplace else. That seems a bit high for that job.

My 1994 Chevy Corsica automatic shift stick got stuck at the moment I park to drop someone off. After a while after checking the gears, the fuses and even the battery, the car's gear stick was able to...

There is a small cable attached to the shift lever that runs up to the ignition switch on the steering column. If it gets stuck, your shift lever won't move out of park and your key can get stuck and you won't be able to pull it out.

Drop the steering column down and detach the cable to free up your shifter and/or key. Make sure to replace it as soon as possible as it is a safety feature.

Can't find turn signal clicker

When you tell us CLICKER, I'm assuming that you are talking about your FLASHER unit; for 1992 Chevrolet Corsica 2.2L SFI OHV 4cyl the Flasher is located in front seating area, driver side, under dash, mounted on driver side of steering column.

The Hazard Flasher is other inde?ndent unit.

Headlights not working It did one day and not the next time we needed them

I had that problem. Mine was a bad dimmer switch on the steering column. I found the problem by bumping the column with the heel of my hand under the switch stalk and the lights came on for a bit. Changed stalk, problem was solved. Kind of a pain. Might be your problem.

Need to get brights working on Corsica 1994

There is not a separate fuse for the high and low beam headlights. When you pull back on the dimmer switch do you hear it click? I am betting that you don't and this would lead me to believe that the dimmer switch is either defective or out of adjustment.
