SOURCE: getting no power to the

My harness diagram is showing that each of the red wires going to the alternator has a fusible link in it. My fusible link location diagram is showing that each of those fusible links, along with 3 others, are all in the harness going to the starter solenoid. They are about 1-3 inches away from where the harness bolts to the starter solenoid.
Please let me know if I may further assist you.

79 cutlass battery hooked up wrong will not start

Check fusible links in the wiring, about a foot or two
from the battery, on the wired positive side

May be taped up & covered & hard to see or find

They will be soldered in & may not be easy to find,
in the auto parts store

May have to solder in a fuse holder & use a new type fusible
plug in link

Where is the fuse panel located on a 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Sierra?

Most of the fuses are in the fuse block but I don't know the physical location. The fusible links associated with the battery are in-line types. The fuel pump and multifunction alarm have in-line fuses

How remove f link from fuse box in 97 corolla

Hi. The fusible links are the big fuses located in the fuse box. The exact location of the fuses depend on the engine and on the version of the car. In 1997 Toyota built series
7 Corolla. At the end of 1997 Series 8 was introduced. in the year 1997 both models with different engines were distributed. There are up to 4 fusible links (big fuses ranging from 30 Amp towing protector to 100 Amps) See here.
Low amps fusible links are also in passenger compartment.
The fusible links are simply fuses and can get replaced using long nose pliers.

Below I have published the fuse diagrams covering Toyota series 7 (1993 to 1997) models.

The fusible links can be purchased here.
The site also includes schematics.

In case the car is a series 8 (late 1997), here service manual for series 8.

Here a fuse link for Corolla 1997, color may vary depending on amps, the one below is low amp current 30A, 100A is usually blue and 40A green, there may be black fuses with no color code:

Battery is good, had alt checked, its good, still not charging

Assuming that the checks you had done are in fact correct, then the most likely problem would be a bad fusible link in the charging line from the alternator to the battery. The easiest way to test this is to remove the red wire that is bolted to the rear of the alternator and check for voltage there )(on the wire). It should read the battery voltage level. If is is zero volts, or a very low voltage as compared to the battery, then the fusible link in the line is either severed or very close to it. A shop can find and replace the link at a reasonable cost. A DIYer can do it also, providing he can find the link location. Fusible links are installed in these lines to act as protection for the battery and alternator under high current conditions. Fusible links can also crack and break from excessing flexing and age.

I cannot start my 93 Cutlass Sierra as there is no power, no lights etc. but the batter is good. What could this be?

There are fusible links some are right at the battery others in the fuse/relay block. Start checking them. If the look burnt replace them.

My 1997 pontiac bonneville will not turn over. battery is good. no dash lights or headlights. no radio or power windows. What is the problem?

Either dead battery or bad fusible link. Charge the battery and if the lights do not come back, then check the fusible links (usually near the starter).
