Question about Cars & Trucks
Most door latch mechanisms can be adjusted up-down-left right a little bit..done by loosening the mounting bolts(body shop will point them out if you inquire, or parts store counter person will maybe show you these)..sometimes a strong wind will pull the door open suddenly and actually bend the sheet metal the door hinges are mounted on and this will "spring" the car door.. you can bend it back usually with some sort of a crowbar, or one of these hydraulic body jacks like a porta-power tool..it looks like a big grease gun with a hose and attachments that yuo can get someone to use to relocate the door with hydraulic pressure and they usually do thejob with little effort..remember these newer vehicles are make with thinner metals nowadays due to weight restrictions and fuel economy so getting bent is kind of easy to do now...take your time to work with tis and it should close almost as it did before...good luck

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls
