The car starts just fine. I drove the car home . parked it. next moring went out to go to school. car started . and when put in drive it does not move. So the timing belt, condensation in teh distributo..none of that matters for the tranny issue..since the car has no problem starting and running..it just wont move

Correction, it will not be the park/neutral switch I think. It starts OK.

It will not move in Reverse either? It could be

- the shift cable has broken
- the parking lock pawl has broken
- park/neutral position switch faulty
- transmission manual valve faulty

I think one of the first 3. There isn't much you can do except have it towed to a transmission shop.

SOURCE: 1999 Toyota Camry check engine light just came

Another expert gave you some advice that does not work on your car.

My question to you: Did you just purchase fuel? If so, is the gas cap on the filler tube tight? If the cap is loose, the light will come on.

Your best bet, if the cap is found to be tight, is to go to an AutoZone; they will scan the car for you for free. Then, get back to us with the code(s) found, and we will get you sorted out.

SOURCE: drove it home everything was ok! went out the next

sounds like a broken timing belt, timing belts like to break during engine cranking and engine shut down. there are inspection holes in the timing cover,if you can't determine, remove top half of timing cover and check belt for slap,if there's slap,it's broke.

SOURCE: Hit big puddle, drove home now won't start.

Either there is condensation in your distributor cap or you have got water in the plug holes. Remove the plug leads and using a cloth clear the lose water, a hair dryer will evaporate the rest. If it is in the distributo cap, take it off by removing the screws or clips and dry it out, as well as the inside of the distributor. Spray it with silicone oil to keep it water proof.

SOURCE: Right side power window on

Is there any type of noise when pressing/pulling the UP button? If there is any type of electric motor noise, possibly the window regulator is faulty. Pull the door panel off to inspect the motor and regulator.

93' toyota camry takes to long to warm up in the

Sounds like a dead spark plug or faulty wire, or even out of time. Start with changing plugs. No change, do the wires. No change check the timing belt. It may have jumped a cog. As for the slow to warm up part, the misfire won't help that problem, but you may need to change the thermostat if it doesn't improve once you get it running on all cylinders.
