Did you use a Volt meter at the sockets to make sure you have power? If no power then you'll need to trace the wiring back from the reverse lights and find the broken or corroded connection.

On a 1996, you will have to take it to a dealership. They will have to plug it into their DRB (handheld computer thingy) to turn it off.

SOURCE: NEEED FUSE FUSE BOX LAYOUT FOR 2003 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN

You can get free owners manuals online at:

http://www.edmunds.com/ownership/howto/articles/120189/article.html

or just type "owners manuals" in your search.

Here is a post I found that worked for my 2005 caravan.

For a 2001 Dodge Caravan: The owner's manual is vague, only stating that all fuses are under the hood in the fuse box, no diagrams. Once you have removed the fusebox cover, the diagrams for what each fuse does is provided under the lid. UNCLEARLY marked is the radio fuse, a 20amp fuse located 2nd row from top to the right of the accessory relay. It is marked: RDO/IP IGN.

SOURCE: New rear backup bulbs but they still don't work.

On the side of your transmission will be a switch with several wires coming out of it. This is your reverse switch that turns on your reverse lights and most likely needs to be replaced

If the fuse and the bulbs check out ok, I would look at the neutral safety switch which also powers the lights.

2001 grand caravan low beam light not working. i chang bulb already i check fuse already.

Hi Every single time I have had a failure of low beam in a headlight without failure of high beam, it has been because the lamp bulb or halogen lamp module has reached the end of its serviceable life, not because of any wiring problems. Low beam burns out first because it is on the most. If low beam is lost simultaneously in both headlights, I would check fuse first, then the headlight switch. If low beam is lost on one side only, it is almost always going to be due to the bulb or lamp module needing to be replaced. In that case, replace them in both headlights because the other one will be going kaput in short order, as well. Also if you already replaced the fuse and bulb check the headlight dimmer control switch.
Thanks for using Fixya.

My 05 dodge grand caravan's reverse lights quit working. I changed the fuse and the bulbs and still doesn't work. What else could it be?

There is a switch that turns the lights on when in reverse, You'll have to locate the switch and see if that failed, or check the wiring for broken connections

Front of the drive side light fail light on.

Check the fuse box under the hood on the drivers side for "head lights" "Front lamps" something of that matter. Replace those fuses. If that doesnt work you may have a short in your wiring.
