THE OIL PAN IS GOING TO BE THE LARGEST PAN AT THE BOTTOM OF THE ENGINE. THERE WILL BE ONLY ONE PLUG ON IT. TO RESET THE OIL CHANGE REMINDER FOLLOW THESE STEPS. TURN THE KEY TO THE ON POSITION, BUT DO NOT START THE VEHICLE. WHILE THE KEY IS ON PUSH THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR THREE TIMES. THIS WILL RESET THE OIL REMINDER.

I want to change my oil but cant find the oil drain-where is it located?

I don't even know how anyone could not find any
engine oil drain plug!

All oil drain plugs are at basically the bottom of the oil pan

They may be at the side ,the rear or on the deepest or
lowest part of the oil pan

Your looking for a bolt head 9/16",14,15, or 16mm,
depending on the vehicle

Oil change

First, you will need to get underneath the truck and locate the oil pan. Turn and remove the bolt on the oil pan to release the oil (use a container to catch the old oil) Now, climb underneath the driver's side of the vehicle, beneath the engine, and locate the oil filter. The filter is a cylinder approximately six inches in length which extends from the side of the engine. Remove the oil filter and then replace it with a brand new one. After all of the oil has drained out, tighten the bolt and the locate the oil cap and remove it. Now add five quarts of oil into the engine

I have a gmc Sierra 2008 and I can't find the oil drain plug to change my oil where is it?

The oil plug will be located on your oil pan. If you checked ther are you sure you checked all areas? I have never seen one anywhere else. Especially on an american made vehicle. I don't know your experience level but the oil pan is located just in front of the transmission under the engine. I hope that helps you find it.
