The leak probably is the water pump.
You won't have heat if the radiator is low on coolant.
Get it checked out as soon as possible. The water pump is driven by the timing belt.

try to run the water pump without hoses, and add water in the 'in' side, if is powers out the other side, then it's fine. how is your water/coolant mix?

Hello, as previously suggested by my collegue it appears you have an air lock. Have you tried parking the vehicle on level ground, from cold with radiator cap off start the car and leave it idling. Make sure the fluid/coolant levels are o.k. and let the engine reach operating temp. Keep some warm water handy and watch/listen the water/coolant system (Keep a safe/sensible distance from radiator) hopefully after a while the system will bubble and boil up let it settle for a few seconds and then top up with very warm water do this until it hopefully stops belching out of radiator. Replace cap and hopefully top and bottom hoses will be warm. Oh! nearly forgot keep all heater controls on hot with blower on full..(Inside the vehicle)
Finally I'm not joshing but is the thermostat in the right way round and functioning correctly? to test drop it in some boiling water it should open almost immeadiatly.

SOURCE: Coolant leak That can't be found
The leak can be from a number of places. The radiator may be leaking, a freeze out plug on the block, a crack in the block, the head gasket, etc. The only way to figure it out is to carefully check under and above the engine. You can purchase a small mirror with an extending handle to view the difficult tight areas (available at most auto parts stores). The reservoir can even have a split in it where it's difficult to see, like in the bottom, or up against the fender. Check the hose from the bottle also. So pick up a mirror, and start your detective work. Since it leaks so quickly, it should be pretty easy to track down. When you go under the car, make sure wheels are blocked, and car is on safety stands. Good luck, let me know what you find.

so i just replaced my water pump today on the same car, mine is a 5.9 magnum. I drained the whole system before i started working on it, next you have to take off the fan, if you look on the inner side of the fan there is a big nut there, in order to loosen that i put to bolts into the holes on the water pump pulley and used a thin screwdriver for leverage, while putting pressure on that, i loosened the nut, be careful not to slip cuz those fan blades are dangerous. but once you have removed that nut from the pulley take out the four bolts holding on the housing, pull the fan and the housing out at the same time. next remove the belt, after that is done, disconnect the hoses from the water pump, there are three, one on each side and one on top. there are a total of eight bolts holding the pump on, keep track of them because they are different sizes. But that is how i removed mine. It was all farely simple i am a girl and i managed to do it so i think you should be fine. Hope it works for you becuase it didnt work for me, i now think that it is my head leaking, if you know anything about that let me know.
