How many miles do I have left when the gas light starts blinking on a cadillac catera 2000

You have about 3 gallons in the tank, so that menas about 50 miles is safe. Never run this car out of gas, you will damage the electric fuel pump inside the gas tank, low fuel/no fuel overheats the pump because the gasoline cools it while it is running.
