Question about 2001 Land Rover Discovery Series II
Mechanic say nothing is wrong with brakes. Where is the switch or sensor for the brake light. BTW it is not the ABS light, it is the one that says "Brakes"
It is under the hand brake lever asmall push press type may have to remove center concil to gain acces

you can request a refund from the car manufaturer via the recall note.
write a letter to the district office, include all documentation and the recall note.

generally when the light comes on you have a bad wheel speed sensor or abs unit soleniod . the wheel speeed sensor might be all part of the wheel bearing itself .the brakes will continue to work properly you just wont have the anti lock feature
