The drivers side wiper will not sweep, when I turn on the wipers the passenger side works fine. The driver side attempts but doesnt sweep. So I doubt its the wiper motor. any ideas are welcome.

check the nut at the base of the wiper arm . There is a splined taper on the end of the wiper arm shaft and if this is loose then the arm shaft moves but it turns inside the base of the wiper arm.

Fix monowiper park position on mercedes c 200 class

Does the wiper sweep past the park correct park position before parking or does it just never go low enough. If it doesn't go low enough, simply loosen the wiper arm from the transmission and lower the wiper arm to the correct park position. If it sweeps past the park position you need to disconnect the motor from the transmission when the motor is in the park position. The move the transmission to the park position and reattach it to the motor.

My rear window wiper is not sweeping when i turn on the switch, but it is spraying

sounds like the wiper motor either went bad or it is somehow stuck on something or something is stuck on it. most likely just a bad wiper motor which should be an easy fix and not to expensive. good luck

2005 grand cherokee. with the wiper arm removed, motor turns clockwise all the time. what causes arm to sweep ccw then cw. rear window

it has linkage you cant see below the windshield kinda similiar to that of an old steam freight train....remember how the wheels went around?? even though the wheels went one direction at the end of that linkage the piece went in/out (back n forth)

I have a 2005 Mini Cooper S and the rear wiper was working fine to-date. One day I turned it on and it stopped about 3/4 of the sweep, chatters slowly to the end and then sweeps back to starting position....

Most likely a faulty ground connection. The people that changed the motor should have checked this out before you got it back. THEY are liable for the repair since what they did had no effect on the operation of your wiper. For what you paid them to repair it, the thing should work fine. They did not do their job and should happily fix it for you no questions asked. Take it back to them and make a formal complaint if they want to charge you more. But it HAS TO WORK properly before you leave them.

1999 Buick Centery passenger side windshield wiper

Sounds like you need two new wiper motors. I beliveve the gearing inside the motors are worn out and now theres alot of play in them. Try wiggling the wipers with you hands and see if you can feel any up or down / side to side movement.

1999 Ford Explorer Rear Windshield Wiper

I usually fix this by bending the arm as low as possible to the base part just make sure the arm doesnt hit the glass handle when it sweeps
