Have you noticed anything else stop working on the car/van ie heating cigaretter lighter etc, if so it could be the fuse box, ford escorts are renowned for the fuse boxes to go. also another suggestion is to check all of the earth straps, mine used to cut out when i used to turn right because of a dodgy earth, then the fuse box packed in

Did you check the fuses? Bad grounds cause odd problems. 9 out of 10 times it is a voltage not ground problem.

Where is the fuel relay reset for 1987 ford escord wagon 5 speed?

The inertia switch should be under the dash on the passenger side. Sometimes it is in t he kick panel near the door.
You may need to check the circuits on the pump relay to find out if the pump has power.

My daughter has a 95 Ford Escort Wagon. The temperature gauge either does not work at all or it bounces back and forth with acceleration or deceleration. The gauge goes up when you accelerate and it goes...

connector may be loose at the temperature sensor. connector should be snug on the sensor. If necessary, bend the terminals carefully to make firm contact. If this does not solve the problem, you may want to replace the sensor. Please let me know if you have questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

1995 Ford Escort LX Wagon 1.9 Liter. 173K Loud Vibration

Is the engine running on all four cylinders, no missfire? If so, check the engine and transmission mounts, there are four, one at the top right hand side, one at the top of transmission on the left hand side, and one on front of transmission bell housing, and one in the rear transmission bell housing, any of them that are bad can cause this vibration. Hope this helps, let me know.

Please to help me to decifrar the following codes of fault after scanning my vehicle ford escort station wagon 1987 CODE001: 95 PCM TO MTR GND KOER: RIGHT 2ND AIR ALWAYS UPSTRM CODE002: 10 SEPARATOR CODE

sepaeraot code means nothing the "10" just separates the permanent codes form the temopary codes.
95 PCM (powertrain control Module) to motor ground, Key On, engine running code.
Air always up stream refers to EGR upstrwam air or downstream air. It's not switching when it should. Bad actuator I think on EGR system.

I guess you know no matter what the noise is the transmission will have to come out and be overhauled, one question, have you checked the CV joints on the axle shafts?
