My heater on 2002 olds silhouette blows cold. from cold start water temp heats up properly. get slight warming in car but then blows cooler

If the fan is moving air at the proper velocity, it is most likely a clog in the heater core or the hose leading into it. Generally, there are 2 hoses about 1 inch in diameter going through the firewall. Those hoses go into a small radiator inside the cars passenger compartment. Go to YouTube and look for 2002 Silhouette heater core removal for specifics. If warm radiator water won't flow freely through the core, that's the problem.

2009 pontiac g6 heater blows cold

Have you checked your actuator ? Internal mechanical / electronic flap that allows warm coolant from engine to run inside your car into heater core.

With vehicle at operating temperature, touch both heater hose inside engine compartment by firewall. They should both be warm/hot if actuator is good. If one is cold, bad actuator or clogged heater core.

My 1997 Plymouth Voyager has air but the heat won't blow when switched on, only cold air.

Start your vehicle and let it reach normal operating temperature. Then, look for heater hoses that run into firewall. Carefully, grab both hose, they should be warm/hot. If only one is hot, could be clogged heater core, T-stat could be bad or mechanical component that allows warm coolant to run thru, is not working properly.
When you change setting inside, your heater and A/C panel, from cold to hot setting, do you hear anything ? There's a flap that opens and closes the coolant passage. This can be a mechanical or electronic operated component.

Heater blows cold air only 2006 Dodge Charger?

Check all vacuum lines first for any possible leaks especially if you have a flow control near firewall or hoses going through firewall. If you feel hoses going to heater core, are they both hot to touch when engine at normal running temperature? Coolant level is up, and been bled properly? Did you have to add coolant lately for any reason?

Heater blowing only cold air

you may have a clogged heater core or heater core bypass valve may be stuck closed. bypass valve is usually on the firewall on one of the heater core hoses. if valve seems to be operating properly. you will need to let the vehicle cool down. disconnect both heater hoses. connect garden hose to one side of heater core let water run through one side and then the other side. if the heater core is too clogged it may need to be replaced.

I put a new heater core in my blazer and now the heater is blowing cold air why?

You need to verify that warm coolant is getting to the heater core by touching the hoses going into the firewall. If they are both the same temp or close, you might have a blend door actuator broken or sticking that does not direct warm air into cabin area

I have an 1996 Nissan Sentra GXE i live in ND and the heater only blows luke warm air while at full operating temperature. I replaced the thermostat and flushed the heater core which seemed clean....

Sounds like it's the air control flap which determines the mix of heated and fresh air. This could be vacuum controlled or manually with a cable.

When the vehicle is warm grab the heater core hoses. There is two of them. They go into the firewall at the back of the motor. If both of them are hot then that means you have a leaking heater core a clogged thermostat or air in your cooling system. If only one of the hoses is hot that means your heater core is clogged. It will bea good idea to take one off and run water through the heater core with a garden hose for 3-4 minutes as this flush out any clogs in heater core. Then reconect hose. Take off radiator cap and let vehicle run for 20-30 minutes and make sure there are no air bubbles in radiator. At first there will be many and you will need to keep adding coolant. once allthe bubles stop you know you got the air out

No heat

first make sure the radiator is topped off or full also the overflow is at proper level .. feel the hoses going into the cars firewall to see if they are warm or hot. if cold then the car is not letting hot water into the heater core inside the car . there is a control outside the firewall that might be at fault .
