Try pushing the volume knob and see if that works. Mine is always on but only illuminates when you push on the knob

The clock stays on in my 1996 buick century v6 and the radio fuse in glove box does not effect it, i tried removing it and had clock still on , is there a secondary fuse for clock?

Look for a "3" Amp fuse on the Fuse Block as it will be singularly used for just the Clock and should be clearly marked "Clock." The Clock should have a Red wire running out of it to the Fuse Block to power it. The Clock is typically wired separately. The red wiring will not be in front as it goes into the wiring harness and in the back of the Fuse Block but if you want to hunt for the Clock wire that will be it running out of a segment of the harness heading for the location of your Clock.

I replaced my ford Radio with another factory radio remaufactured. I plugged in the 2 plugs and the antennas, only the clock works. It will take CDs but won't play them, radio doesnt go to radio,

Modern automotive electronics are keyed to the VIN through the ECU to prevent theft, you must have the radio ID #, and key it into the radio with the number pads on the radio, only the dealership can retrieve the correct code for your vehicle. Probably not what you wanted to hear.

How to change time on pickup

Hold down either the hour or minute button until it changes....it takes a few seconds. Then when you have it set where you want, leave it alone and it'll keep track from there.

Chevy/radio/clock

factory radio? probally not is my guess. Odds are, the switch power wire and the main power wire on the radio are either swapped, or are drawing juice on the same wire which is always hot. Causing them to be on 24/7. Now if it's factory, idk, never heard that before.

Delco radio in 95 blazer

With key in "on" position, but pickup not started, press the "SET" button and the "channel up" button (aka "TUNE +"). "SET" appears in radio window.

Now the "SEEK" button will increment hours and the "SCAN" button will increment minutes.

Once correct time is set, press "SET" button again to get out of clock set mode. "SET" will disappear from radio window.

Problems after car battery replacement

Sounds to me like you've got a fualty radio. maybe your clock radio was staying on and thats what drained your old battery. I would remove your radio and check the wiring. make sure you don't have any rubbed through wires or anything. If there's no evidence of faulty wiring then try a new cd player. After all, it could be an electrical issue inside your cd player. hope this helps ya out. O and by the way your clock light should be a yellow wire in the back of the head unit i beleive. the yellow wire is constant power from the battery specifically for the clock. you may also want to check your orange wire. that wire is an illumination wire for the radio. hope this helps
