SOURCE: 2002 Toyota Solara Convertible seat belts not retracting

The front seatblet retractor springs have weakened. Unfortunatly, there are no "user serviceable parts" on them. They would have to be replaced. How many miles is on it? If you have low mileage, the Toyota Customer Experience Center may provide you some assistance, as the belt replacements are quite expensive. I'd call the CEC and explain your dilemma. SOURCE: 2004 toyota sequoia front end shake

Replace the front rotors.
Refacing does not work on Sequoias. The metal removed to get the rotor "true" is usually below minimum safe thickness, and the vibration comes right back when it gets hot.

SOURCE: 2001 Toyota Camry intermittent front end shake

check wear on your outer tied ends. If it's not there, it is in your steering/suspension. this is not a brake problem. and this dangerous. have it checked out ASAP

SOURCE: 99 camery solara...ratlingnoise front left wheel,

Strut tops are a common failure on the 97-01 era Camry/Solaras.

They will make a hollow rattle sound whenever you hit bumps or uneven pavement.

They can be replaced one at a time, and do not require strut replacement if your old struts are still in good shape.
Replacement does require a strut compressor and an alignment afterwards, placing it outside the scope of most do-it-yourselfers.

It is labeled "suspension support" in the following diagram. The bearing below it is typically replaced at the same time.

car shakes which is called shimmy shake,if brake pads been replaced wheels still shimmy, you have worn brake rotors with low and high spots, you could have bad wheel bearing, you have worn out tie rod ends and worn out ball joints, you could have tire out of balance, also you could need front end alignment.many things will cause wheels to do the shimmy shake.

1995 Ford Crown Victoria - shakes/vibrates @ highway speeds.

Alignment has alot to do with the tires not shimmying.. Like zero toe setting. Loose componants like tie rod ends and the idler ar worn. You can ck for excess front end play by holding the front and back of the wheel and pushing and pulling on it, like rocking it. OR have someone rock the steering while you watch where the play is from underneath. By rocking I mean turn the steering wheel back and forth. Look at all th joints and pivot points for excess play, which is, movement not immediate to the rest of the steering system. Tire balance is very important. Wheel hop is a sign of a bad tire and it overtaxes the shock absorber. Shocks don't cause shimmy because they are a vertical movement controlA shimmy is lateral or side to side.Wheel balance weights must be spit. If a 2 oz. weight is needed to balance the tire, Oe once should be on the inside of the wheel and one ounce on the outside directly across from each outher.. Loose wheel brgs will cause shimmy, but they would not last long. Caster setting on the wheel alignment will also cause shimmy. Like on a shopping car. too much caster causes the wheel to start fluttering and is very hard on other componants. This may be why you have worn tie rod ends and a bad pitman arm. Worn control arm bushings and ball joints directly affect titre wear and can only be feltwhen the front end hits a dip and detected by side wear on the tire edges. Summary: replace the tie rod end and have the car aligned. Good Luck, -Ned_ sorry about the book

At 60 mph, front-end shimmy/shake

There are a lot of things that can cause it to shimmey, and there is not enought room here to explane it all. My advise to you is to take it to a frontend alinement shop and have it chk. out, could be serious.

Front end shimmy

Sounds like you may have some large tires on the Jeep. Check the stabilizer rod that attaches to the frame and down to the front differential. It may be loose or have worn bushings. This would cause the front end to shake at times. You probably get this problem to go away by applying the brakes a little or slowing down quickly to a certain speed. If that is the case check the rod and bushings. Good luck.
