The tire pressure is listed on the tires. The tire pressure is determined by the tire itself so you will need to look at the actual tire you should see numbers like 16/205/60r and another number like 44psi you need the number with psi following it and that will tell you your Pounds per Square Inch needed for the correct pressure

You probably didn't need new tires unless you had some miles on it. Remember that the spare tire also has a pressure monitor as well. It most likely is causing the low tire pressure light on the dash and only needs to be inflated back to what ever your other tires are set to. I had the same problem on my RX and took it back to the dealership where they told me since the spare is exposed to the same elements (it's under the back of the RX - you have to use the tire iron to let the spare down), it will inevidably lose air.

Good luck.

Testimonial: "Knowledgeable expert...found the button (but unfortunately did not fix problem--maybe shop messed up a sensor in the tire)"

most likely your key battery needs to be replaced. due to the involvment of the key, it uses alot more battery power then older cars and the battery should be replaced every year. hope that helps.

SOURCE: 2006 lexus gs300 tire pressure reset button

there is not a reset for the tire pressure monitor system, the system resets its self when all tires are inflated to the proper psi. 35 psi . dont forget about the spare. if all tires are properly inflated check the "2nd set" switch. it is located under the dash on the passenger side. sometimes they get bumped accidently. unless you have a 2nd set of wheels with sensors the switch should be set to "main"

2008 Lexus ES350. Tire pressure light showing constantly; how to I turn it off? Thanks

If the tires are inflated to the proper specs on the door jam or glove box sticker then you must see the dealer for diagnosis and testing of the system it has a fault like a defective tire pressure transducer..

The location of senesor for tires in lexus es 350 model 2007

Hi there:
First I suggest checked all pressure levels in the tires and then re-initialized the TPWS system. The buttom to do this on a 2007 ES350 is slightly out of site under the driver's side of the dash just past the Air Bag System panel. Also, I suggest read instructions in the Owner's Manual. Aboiut TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor) location check the spare.

I recommend that the TPMS be initialized every time tire pressure is changed.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day.
