Shorting out, or not working? Each describes a different problem, and with shorting out, you would be blowing and replacing fuses all the time.

Not working would indicate a bad connection somewhere. Maybe the main fuse buss, maybe a relay connector, etc.

Wiring diagrams can normally be found in the factory service manuals, which many repository libraries maintain a copy of.

Call the library and ask, and if they don't have the fsm's, see if they can either get the one you need (on inter loan), or find where the nearest library is that they will have it.

Getting online is usually a futile search as most of the material is copyrighted. You might try to log in to an Isuzu forum and see if anyone has posted one, or, ask if someone has one.

you have a short in this circuit, it must be repaired before you stick that fuse in. a wiring diagram is how you can trace that circuit, testing each wire for continuity, or a short, is the only way to find your problem.

Ac not working cruise not working reverse lights not working

Those are three different circuits, the only thing I know of that would control all three is the ignition switch. There could also be a junction somewhere that all three get voltage from that is corroded.
The cruise control switch and the reverse light switch involves the steering col but not the a/c.

I think that I have a short in my electrical wiring harness what should I look for first

Without knowing why you think you have a short or the exact problem this is difficult to answer with any certainty. But the main thing you have to do first is identify the problem (what is failing), then find the circuit that is used, then start checking for pinched or crushed wires on that circuit. You may have to do some disassembling to check certain things as you go. Some shorts will be in the unit itself. I hope this gets you started. Good Luck!

It runs a short time shuts off and wont start

sounds like you have an igniton sensor problem, it could be an intermitten electrical short to your camshaft sensor or a short leading up to your coil, computer, or in your fuel system.

the first thing i would do is to have the computer scanned for codes, this will help in finding the problem,it could be a alternator or a short or a loose connection ,

Mine did that same thing. I ended up having to buy a carb cleaning kit, and take the carburator apart and clean it out and rebuild it. It was really dirty inside it and since I did that I have had no problems!

Short, draining the battery

The biggest problem ALL Mark VIIs have as far as electrical gremlins is the Voltage Regulator. Swap out the V/R and have the alternator and battery checked for free at your local AutoZone.
