Question about 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier
Check the Tension on the Belt. If it is not tight enough or you need a New Tensioner for the Belt, It will run hot. It is not letting the Water Pump Cool the Motor fast enough. You might also Check the Radiator. If the Radiator is Even a Little Clogged, It will overheat. Also, Check the Fan clutch, If it is not working Properly, You will overheat. Let me know what you find!
