The system has to see a wide range of conditions before a smog test can be done. Timing belt replaced on 2002 PT cruiser which idles roughly

Yes,your 2.4 engine is a interference engine, the mechanic should of showed you the bent valves and not installed the timing belt.Did he tell you they were bent when you paid or you found out after you drove home.I would go back and demand money back,if he's won't pay back,go to the BBB and report him and take him to small claims court, your engine is bad.

sorry but you need to give more details on this one...Turbo/non-turbo? miles? recent service done? fuel gauge operational? Check Engine light on? unfortunately, PT Cruisers are known for engine related problems... email me at info@dnzautomotive.com with the info, see what I can come up with...

I am unable to replace my timing belt on my 2001 PT Cruiser I have 120,000 miles on my car.....Can it make it to 122,000??? I am trying to get the money together as we speak........Do you know???

some people dont bother to change the belt at all(NOT RECCOMMENDED) so, as long as you dont redline it in every gear,it could go on for a lot longer(i hope...)
feedback??
