SOURCE: OBD 2 code showing 301

P0300, P0301, and P0302 are all misfire codes (cylinders #1 and #2, and a multiple/random misfire). The only time I've heard of this being related to a crank sensor is if the sensor were loose. Furthermore, a crank sensor issue should affect all cylinders equally. So I'd expect you'd have the P0300 only, or all the codes you have plus P0303 and P0304 (and P0305 and P0306 if a V6).

You should continue checking your secondary ignition system. Presuming the wires and plugs made no difference in the codes or condition, check the coil. You'll want to do your checking when the problem is occurring. Perhaps even mist the wires and coil with water to see if you can see a spark jumping. If you do indeed see a spark jumping, that is the location of your problem.

Another strategy you can use is to take the #1 and #2 plug wires (if accessible) off the plugs and just set them back in place without clipping back onto the plugs. Then, start the car, and gradually pull the wire(s) off the plug(s). The spark should come out of the end of the wire onto the plug. If it comes out of the coil or the side of the wire, then the problem is in the location of the spark.

If you're unable to find a secondary ignition problem, then you should begin investigating whether you have a fuel delivery or internal engine problem causing the misfire. Most engine issues will show up with a compression test. If you indeed are only misfiring on cylinders 1 and 2, you can swap those injectors with the others to see if the misfire follows the injectors.

SOURCE: 01 sonata gls v6...code po455, po442. what are

If you have an EVAP leak, you will get the following codes:

1. P0442 evap emission control system leak (small).
2. P0455 evap emission control system leak (large).

If these codes come up, you need to trace the leak. The most common place for the systems to leak besides the gas cap is at the service port under the hood, the hoses at the purge solenoid, and the hoses around the fuel tank. Check all your EVAP hoses from under the hood , all the way back to the gas tank. You can repair a split hose easily. Buy some 14.5mm EVAP hose at the auto parts store. Just cut the split or cracked section out and attach the new hose.

I can only say that u must fix the code issue and light to pass state emission test, if u reset the light they will know, the system will tell the tester that the system is not ready, this will cause a fail.

SOURCE: need fil for error code P2626 Hyundai Elantra GLS

P2626 O2 Sensor Pumping Current Trim Circuit/Open (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

I'll sure this has to do with a faulty O2 sensor. This sensor is usually located around the header of your car, or down more on your exhaust.

Try disconnecting your battery for 30 mins, hook it back up, and start your car again. This will erase the error. See if it comes in again.

Hope this help (remember rated this post).

SOURCE: Hyundai Sonata 2006 - Check Engine light came on.

"Fuel system too lean at idle". It's an air/fuel ratio that is not correct, possibly a vacuum leak somewhere. Or a leaky exhaust pipe. Could be related to intake manifold gasket. Somewhere, air is getting into the engine.

I suggest taking it back to the dealer under warranty. I think Hyundai is 10yr./100k for the original owner. 5yr./50k if not. Ask first if covered, and ask why not id not covered.

Its most likely a worn down battery. They get even weaker when its very cold outside. I'd get a jump or connect a charger to it.

Error code p0650

OBD II codes are specific to manufacturers and often specific vehicles. A Hyundai Accent P0650 may not be the same as a Hyundai Sonata P0650 because Hyundai loaded more diagnostic codes into the upscale Sonata.

Check with AZone or similar, they'll tell you the code description, and give you possible suspect causes to check.

U2b00 code p0456

PO456 is a code for the EVAP system - small leak.
Choices are a faulty gas cap, or leak in the fuel tank vent system.

My Hyundai Sonata GLS, with 2.5 Liter 6 cyl.

You cannot, First thing you need to do is get the codes using a diagnostic scanner that is able to access the airbag module. Your basic code reader will not do this. The code will tell you what airbag has an issue. If your a smoker in the car most likley the ASH destroyed the clockspring under the steeing wheel.
